House Fire - Drapers Mill Rd

On January 1, 2013 at 1650 hours, stations 700, 600, 56 and 400 were dispatched for a house fire on Drapers Mill Rd. PM 17 arrived on location reporting a single story, wood-framed house, fully involved. 716 arrived and Brush 704 soon after, confirming PM 17 report. Engine 703 was the first arriving engine, preforming the inital attack. Officer 717 was operations, and 419 was water supply. After about an hour of suppresion, the scene was placed under control. The Maryland State Fire Marshall's office was requested for further investigation. The fire marshall arrived on scene, placing it at a total loss. Cause of the fire is under investigation. All units returned at 2447, with one medical injury. Units on scene: Squad 702, Engine 703, Brush 704, Brush 705, Tanker 706, Utility 708.
